System description

The Secumax Rail system by Betomax Polska S. A. is composed of three basic components: rail grip, barrier pillar and protective plank. The joining of these individual components creates a complete protective barrier system, as a temporary side protection system during railway line refurbishments or upgrades. Thanks to grip adjustment, it is possible to create a barrier at a distance of 2850 mm from the rail track axis. The Secumax Rali system conforms to structural requirements per document Id-18 constituting an attachment to ordinance no. 21/2010 of the Board of Directors of the Polish Railway Lines (PKP PLK S. A.) of August 31st, 2010.
The anti-corrosion protection of the steel as well as impregnated protective battens guarantee long component life. A special pipe wrench facilitates installation and attaches the clamp reliably to the foot of the rail of the rail track in service

Rail grip

Usage

Rail track clamps, with pillars and protective handrails, are used for fencing off hazard zones when securing working areas at the rail track taken out of use during traffic of trail vehicles on the track in service, in case of service speed of V ≥ 100km/h.

The following components are required to execute one section of the protective guard rail: 2x rail clamp, 2x handrail pillar, 2x protective batten and special pipe wrench as the tool.
