This is a system of special solutions, allowing securing of a particular type of work in line with Polish Standard PN-EN 795. It is particularly useful at formwork edges. It is foreseen as protection during execution of formwork of ceiling slabs and concreting works, in course of which work the risk of falling from a height is present. The Alsipercha system is basically a kind of small crane inserted into a sleeve, embedded in a pillar (immediately after concreting).
To the crane, a self-braking system placed above the user's head is attached. In such a system, due to the elevated attachment point, the space required to arrest the fall is minimal. Attaching the suspension systems to one support pillar allows work in a radius of 6,5 metres around the pillar, allowing the operator to safely execute work over an area of 125 m2, and if the distance between the pillars is less than 8,5 metres, one has the ability to move horizontally (applying the rule of attaching the personal suspension system to at least one support pillar).
Such an arrangement is a fully safe and effective fall arrest system protecting from falls in all dangerous situations, which arise during the process of installing of formwork on concrete structures.
