A type B threaded tie is manufactured as a fully threaded 18 MnV5 carbon steel rod. The thread of the tie is manufactured by cold rolling, and has a trapezoidal cross section. The rod, from which the tie is made, can be bent or welded. Calculated stretch resistance of the tie is around 85 kN to 240 kN, depending on the tie's cross section. Upon request, we are also able to manufacture galvanised ties, this ensures greater resistance against wear in an aggressive environment. The maximum tie length, which we are able to manufacture, is 6,00 m.

Usage:
The tie is a formwork component, which transfers the pressure load of the concrete mix through formwork panels and accompanying components. It ensures maintenance of formwork dimensions. It can be civered by a type K plastic pipe or a type FB concrete pipe, allowing its reclaimation and renewed use.

The SGS tie is manufactured from a St 900/1100 grade carbon steel rod. The thread of the tie is manufactured by hot rolling, and has a trapezoidal cross-section. Two thread interruptions, symmetrical against the cross-section axis, facilitate the self-cleaning properties of the tie when twisting a nut on or off. The rod, from which the tie is manufactured, may not be bent or welded. Calculated load bearing capacity of the SGS 15 tie is 90 kN, and of the SGS 20 tie - 160 kN. Upon request, galvanised ties may be made, this ensures better resistance in an aggressive environment. The maximum tie length, which we are able to manufacture upon request is 12,00 m. Standard length is 6 metres.

Usage:
The tie is a formwork component, which transfers the pressure load of the concrete mix through formwork panels and accompanying components. It ensures maintenance of formwork dimensions. It can be civered by a type K plastic pipe or a type FB concrete pipe, allowing its reclaimation and renewed use.

The D110 OS water partition is manufactured as a cast component with embossed sheet steel welded on. The partition thread is compatible with the threads of B15 and UNI15 ties, which are screwed into the cast component during assembly. The ties need to be protected with the K26 plastic pipe, or, through the use of a water partition reduction adapter, with the K22 plastic pipe.

Usage:
In spots, where it is necessary for the tie to pass through a concrete component, upon which water pressure acts.

The type D water partition is manufactured as a complete cast component. It is manufactured in two versions, with a larger and a smaller panel diameter. Both partitions are compatible with the B15 and the SGS15 tie types, which are screwed into the partition and protected by a type K26 plastic pipe, or, through the use of a reducing adapter, by a type K22 plastic pipe. The partition thread is compatible with B15 and SGS15 ties, which are screwed into the cast during assembly. The ties need to be protected by K26 plastic pipes, or alternatively by the use of water partition reductions, with the K22 plastic pipe. The tie passage seal against the water partition guarantees tightness up to a water column height of 20 meters.

Usage:
Same as for the OS partition.

The butterfly nut is made as a cast of white ductile cast iron, the nut thread corresponds to standards of threaded bars. The nut requires the use of a clamping spacer. Usage:

The articulated nut, together with the thrust plate, is made of white ductile cast iron, with a galvanic protective coat. The KP articulated nut is used to tension the formwork panels with the B15 tie and maintain there at the assumed spacing using a spacer pipe. Thanks to the articulated installation of the nut, it may be used at an angle. It is screwed onto the tie using a ratchet wrench, a socket wrench or alternatively a butterfly nut wrench. The KP nut finds broad use, it may be used with tunnel formwork, where the formwork panels are installed at specific angles.

The EX cone is a stable cone of synthetic material put onto the K22 or K26 plastic pipes. It guarantees tightness, fully protecting the formwork ties against concrete contamination. A large contact surface of the cone with the formwork panel prevents the emergence of damage. It is easily dismantled through the use of the EX cone spanner. The thus created leftover cone opening is easily covered by a structural concrete plug for the EX cone glued in place using the A+B two-compound adhesive or filling mortar. If there is little pressure of the water on the passage through the concrete component, first up the plastic pipe needs to be covered from the side where the water stress is greatest using the FLUPP or ST 22 rubber plugs, and following that close the entire system with a structural concrete plug for the EX cone. Should there be no pressure from water exerted on the component, one can use filler mortar, however, first up the K 22 plastic pipe needs to be plugged with the EX22 plug, and the K26 pipe with the STERN 26 plug, minimising the required volume of filler mortar.

Usage:
The EX cone is used when joining formwork panels using ties. Together with the spacer pipe, it forms perfect protection of the tie against contamination by concrete, and allows its further use. The EX cone provides a passage cover of 50 mm.

Synthetic material cone installed in the spacer. It ensures tightness, fully protecting the tie used to join the formwork panels against contamination. It is easily removed with the use of the EX cone spanner. After removal of the cone, the spacer pipe is closed by the FLUPP or ST22 plugs. The opening left over after the EX cone to the type K pipe can be covered using the EX 22 PCW plug (in case of a K 22 type plastic pipe) or the STERN 26 plug (in case of a K 26 pipe). The opening left over by the cone can also be plugged using a structural concrete plug with the use of A+B adhesive.

 

Usage:
As in the case of the EX cone, on the plastic pipe, however the EX cone, however the EX cone provides a more limited cover thickness, and hence the use of this type of cone is avoided if the water pressure on the concrete component is high.

Fulfilling the role of a cone, the end cap is made of synthetic material, and is used for sealing ends of spacer pipes. The IN end cap remains in the concrete permanently and is plugged with the STOPF plug, guaranteeing that the passage will be sealed at low water pressure. The IN end cap protects the interior of the spacer pipe during concreting against intrusion of concrete and contamination of the tie running inside.  

Usage:  
For K 22, K 26, K 32 plastic pipes, as well as in case of the IN 26 end plug as an end plug of the M 24 anchoring component.

The type K pipe is a spacer pipe made of synthetic material with various opening diameters from 22 mm to 26 mm, up to even 32 mm. It is compatible with all ties from the Betomax range. Special openings on the pipe surface improve its adhesion with the concrete. The plastic pipe, together with the cones, has the goal of protecting the tie against contamination, and serves to allow its renewed use in the future. Where the water pressure is low, the pipe is plugged with the FLUPP or ST plugs, and the entirety is sealed off with a concrete plug, glued in place using the A+B two component adhesive.

Usage:
As a protective seal of the formwork tie and the tie in the water partition. Note for the pipe length not to exceed 600 mm. If such a situation should arise, the pipe should be cut half way through and connected using a joining component, which shall increase the rigidity of the protective pipe.

Usage:

Concrete spacer pipe

The FB pipe is a concrete spacer pipe with an opening diameter of 22 mm made of distributed fibre-reinforced concrete. It is foreseen for the SGS 15 and B 15 ties, if the length of the pipe should exceed 800 mm, the pipe is to be cut in half and joined with a joint, the end of the pipe protected against concrete intrusion by a concrete pipe seal. In case of water pressure, first press in the PCW plug for concrete pipes using the plug presser device, and afterwards glue in the FB concrete plug for concrete pipes using the A+B two-component adhesive. The FB pipe-based system is tight against a water column of 25 mm.

Usage:
As protection of formwork ties used also with the B15 water partition.

The FB concrete pipe end seal is made of synthetic material. It protects the formwork tie and the inside of the spacer pipe against contamination by concrete. It fulfils the role of a closing cone for the end of the spacer pipe, forming resistance between the pipe and the formwork panel. After removal of the formwork, the pipe end seal is removed, and the created opening is filled and flattened with filler mortar.

Usage:
Used as an end and as sealing of concrete pipes with an opening width of 22 mm.

A concrete plug is used to tightly plug and cap concrete spacer pipes, it is glued in using the A+B two-component adhesive. In case of water pressure, the tightness of a system utilising a type FB pipe is up to 25 m water column. The plug press device us useful during installation, with the PCW concrete pipe plug being pressed in first. The PCW plug serves as a thrust bearing for the gluing of the FB concrete plug. Adhesive consumption is 100 plugs L=50/kg.

As insulation against water pressure for the concrete spacer pipe with a 22 mm opening diameter.

Two-component adhesive on specially modified liquid epoxy resin base. Adhesive foreseen for gluing of concrete plugs, the task of which is not only sealing of openings left over from cones, but also sealing against water pressure of the entire passage of the formwork tie. Own research on the tightness of the glued connection covered a range of pressure values up to 5 bar for the FB plugs.

Range of use:
The Betomax two-component adhesive is used as a joining and sealing component for passages of formwork tie. These spots are covered with plugs using specifically the Betomax adhesive compound.

Mode of preparation:
The two-component adhesive comes in cans. In order to prepare the adhesive from the cans, both glue components are mixed at a ratio of 1:1. The components are mixed until the disappearance of discolouration traces, the lack of which indicates that the mixture is uniform. The surfaces to be glued may neither be fattened nor dusty. The adhesive is usable for approx. one hour at +20 °C. The glued joint should amount to approx. 2 mm, and superfluous glue should not flow outwards. The adhesive should not be used at temperatures below +8 °C.

Adhesive consumption:
Approx. 40 FCB-15 (20; 26,5) concrete plugs per 1 kg of adhesive.
Approx. 100 FB concrete plugs with a diameter of 22 mm L=50 per 1 kg of adhesive.
